University of Oxford lecture: No alarm but plently of smouldering ambition!

This Tuesday we traveled to the beautiful city of Oxford where we held our penultimate introduction lecture for this years tour. Zig zagging our way around the bowels of the Wolfson building to Lecture Theatre A, some familiar faces joined Steel Media’s Lee Kenny and SERI’s very own Manfred Bortenschlager.

For a second year running we brought the students of Oxford a heads up on what they can expect from us in this year’s Android focussed challenge.

Whilst we were fortunate enough to avoid interruption from the Wolfson’s alarm system, it was clear that the fire was still present in the bellies of the students!

A huge thanks to Shoshannah, Leanne, and everyone else at Oxford for their help and to the students who came along on Tuesday – we’re looking forward to coming back for the codeathon on the 23rd November.

If you  couldn’t make it to the lecture, don’t panic! Both presentations are available to view here.
